We're in Steam Next Fest this October

Summer Snow Day is in Steam Next Fest. It runs 19–26 October, and we are thrilled.

This one has been on the wall since the very beginning, back when Kamanori was a folder of backgrounds and a spreadsheet. Next Fest was the thing you looked at and thought, one day, if this actually becomes a game. It became a game. We are going.

For that week Steam puts the demo in front of people who were not looking for it, which is most of the reason small games get found at all. If you have already played it, the best thing you can do for us in October is tell someone who has not.

We only get one shot. A game can appear in Next Fest once, and the next edition is February 2027, after we launch. So this is it, and we intend to enjoy it.

The demo has been up since June 2025 and stays up after the festival ends. There was never a reason to take it down.
